The company has revealed key details about the updated Safari, including improved mileage, ahead of the official price announcement. Bookings for the facelifted Safari have already begun, with a booking amount of Rs. 25,000.
More Efficiency Under the Hood
The forthcoming Tata Safari facelift retains its robust 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, Kryotec diesel engine, which packs a punch with 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. This powerful engine is paired with both six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
Better Fuel Efficiency
In the facelifted version, Tata Motors has focused on enhancing the SUV’s fuel efficiency. The manual transmission variant of the Safari facelift is expected to achieve an impressive mileage of 16.30kmpl, while the automatic transmission variant offers a commendable 14.50kmpl. These figures represent a slight increase in fuel efficiency compared to the outgoing models, which offered 16.14kmpl and 14.08kmpl for the manual and automatic trims, respectively.
